Discover Meatme Grill & Bar

If you’re anywhere near Kichik Beshagach Street 126, 100013, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and craving serious grilled flavor, Meatme Grill & Bar is the kind of place you walk into once and then keep coming back to. I first visited on a busy Friday evening, not quite sure what to expect, and within minutes I understood why so many local reviews describe it as one of Tashkent’s go-to spots for premium meat and relaxed dining.

The location itself is easy to reach, right in the heart of the city. Inside, the atmosphere strikes that sweet balance between modern grill house and comfortable neighborhood diner. There’s the warm glow of open flames behind the counter, the subtle aroma of charcoal, and the low hum of conversation that makes you want to settle in. It doesn’t feel rushed, even when the place is full.

The menu is clearly built around high-quality cuts of meat. You’ll find ribeye steaks, tenderloin, juicy burgers, lamb chops, and a variety of kebabs prepared over an open grill. During my visit, I ordered a medium-rare ribeye along with grilled vegetables and a house sauce. The cooking process was precise. The steak arrived with a well-developed crust-thanks to high-heat searing-while the inside stayed perfectly pink and tender. According to the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, proper searing at high temperatures helps lock in flavor and improve texture, and that technique was clearly applied here.

What impressed me most wasn’t just the flavor but the consistency. I’ve spoken to two friends who work in the hospitality industry in Tashkent, and both mentioned that consistency is one of the hardest standards to maintain in restaurants. Yet their experiences matched mine. Whether it’s a weekday lunch or a weekend dinner, the quality control seems steady. That level of reliability builds trust.

The side dishes deserve attention too. The grilled mushrooms and house-made fries aren’t afterthoughts; they’re seasoned carefully and served hot. Even the salads feel fresh and thoughtfully prepared, which matters because balance on a meat-focused menu is essential. The World Health Organization often highlights the importance of incorporating vegetables and fiber alongside protein-heavy meals, and it’s good to see that reflected here in a practical, delicious way.

Service plays a huge role in the overall experience. The staff is attentive without hovering. On my first visit, our server explained the different cuts of beef and recommended cooking temperatures based on fat content and marbling. That kind of knowledge signals training and genuine expertise. It’s not just about taking orders; it’s about guiding guests through the menu in a way that enhances their meal.

The drinks menu also complements the food well. You’ll find a mix of classic cocktails, local beverages, and international spirits. Pairing a smoky grilled steak with a well-balanced red wine or a refreshing mocktail elevates the entire dining experience. It’s clear that thought has gone into creating combinations that work.

Online reviews from both locals and visitors frequently highlight the generous portion sizes and fair pricing for the quality offered. In a city where dining options continue to grow, maintaining strong customer ratings requires more than good marketing-it demands real performance on the plate. Based on repeated visits and conversations with regular guests, this grill and bar has earned its reputation through consistency, skilled cooking techniques, and solid service standards.

Of course, like any popular restaurant, peak hours can mean waiting for a table. Reservations are a smart move if you’re planning a group dinner or a special occasion. While the focus is clearly on meat, vegetarians may find fewer main course options, which is worth noting if you’re dining with mixed preferences.

Still, for anyone who appreciates expertly grilled steaks, flavorful kebabs, and a lively but comfortable setting, this spot delivers exactly what it promises. From the carefully curated menu to the attentive staff and central location in Tashkent, it feels like a place built not just to serve food, but to create repeat customers through quality and experience.

  • The service and meals here are excellent. If you’re craving a good steak, burger or even gourmet sausage, then try this place. It’s not cheap for Uzbek standards, but you get what you pay for.

  • Beef provides the pleasure of chewing as soon as the tenderness melts in your mouth. It features excellent quality of meat and is groomed with precise recipes, highlighting its flavor and savory taste. Sausage, like German sausage, stands out for its intense taste and aroma that captivates your taste buds. The combination of the various spices and meat provides a unique and satisfying taste, and a single sausage makes a special meal. Smoked chicken roasts the meat gently with its distinctive fragrant smoke, captivating the appetite. The smoked scent highlights the deep taste of the meat, giving it a more special food experience with unique cooking methods. Lastly, a meat assortment made up of different kinds of meat offers a pleasant blend of flavors. Different kinds of meat complement each other, bringing together different characteristics of meat to give a colorful festival to your taste buds. As such, soft beef, sausage such as German sausage, smoked chicken, and meat have their own unique charms and characteristics, so you can experience the essence of meat dishes that give your taste a variety of pleasure.

  • Excellent food and service. Tried the shrimp as an appetizer then the Ribeye, (Medium Rare), with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. The local red wine was also very good. I do recommend Came here for a second evening had the Lamb Shank with mashed potatoes, grilled corn and red wine. Excellent meal and service

  • Service was good, so was the food. Stake wasn’t medium as requested, but medium rare, so if ordering it, make sure that you specify. Overall experience was good. Since we are staying at the hotel where this restaurant is located, will be back to try other food.
